Great White - Image make over by Amos Nachoum

These images of swimming in open water with Great white shark can provoke at least two extreme kind of reactions - great support and surprise or total dislike to the fact that I risk my life and the one who trust me...however the real results are outstanding and valuable....first and foremost everyone is safe, the guests, the shark and the photographer:-)))...

Lets start from the beginning - Great White shark have not seen the Movie Jaws and are not able to imitate the behavior was attributed to them. Great White are not "man eaters" as portrait in Jaws or "Shark week"... or elsewhere

I strongly suggest you do not do it unless you hire a proven guide / leader who knows what he or she is doing and have prior experience! In all the cases known of swimming out of the cage there never been an accident or aggression by the shark toward the diver. The same is in my experience and the divers I have lead at least in 2008 and in 2009 - all are safe, sound, happy and sharing the news that Great White although are wild and unpredictable at the same time if the action done under strict supervision it is possible to be with them in open water and safe too. Great White shark is not threat, menace to human nor it is act violently if they are not irritated, aggravated and provoked with man made stimulus...due to the complexity of the adventure and inherit risk - this opportunity is not offered for everyone, only to highly experienced and qualified divers/photographers
